Importance of internet in the current times

Internet is developing very fast. More and more users of the internet are being added every year. According to an estimate the number of users of internet have increased more than 4 times in the last 10 years and now almost 30% of the world population uses internet. There are several advantages of the use of internet and there are several disadvantages as well.

Advantages:

1-     Making exchange of information easier helping to spread education and awareness.

2-     Helping the businesses as the people can work from remote sites, increasing efficiency and reducing office costs.

3-     It is also important in education as the students can access information and educational materials online from remote places.

Disadvantages:

1-     The anti social elements can group more easily by using emails and networking websites.

I am a auditory learner. I did a little research about this learning style and almost everything I found out was true. They all applied to me. I enjoy reading out loud and I am not afraid or shy to speak my mind. I also enjoy loud music and cannot keep quietr for a long time. I know this is not the best but I hope I work on it.

SWOT ANALYSIS

Strengths

I am very creative and I often impress my mate with new ideas.

I communicate well with my peers and lecturers.

I have the ability to ask questions in class and I am always eager to answer questions during lectures.

I am completely committed to success in my education

Weaknesses

I have a strong, compulsive need to do things quickly and it affects my studies because I don’t take my time

I get nervous when presenting to a group of people I don’t know.

I am can’t little jokes when I am seriously studying

I sometimes get stressed up when I working on something and all I get is failure

Opportunities

I am not familiar with Harvard referencing, so this is a great chance to know it and use it in my work.

I spend less time in libraries so I am ignorant of most of the rules. This is an opportunity to learn them.

Threats

I am here with most of my friends on scholarship so I have to work very hard to maintain the privilege.

I am used to tropical weather and I wonder if I could cope with and study hard in the winter.
